Golden Royal runs on two pieces of stored state, both strictly functional. We set no advertising or analytics cookies of our own.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage does a similar job, but the data stays on your device and is not attached to requests. Both are used to remember state between page loads — which is all we use them for.

What we use

Identifies your signed-in account. Contains only your user ID and an expiry, sealed with an HMAC signature so it cannot be forged or edited.

Retention: 30 days, or until you sign out

Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the age gate does not interrupt every page. Stored in your browser and never transmitted to us.

Retention: Until you clear site data

What we do not use

No advertising, retargeting or affiliate-tracking cookies.
No third-party analytics suites — we do not run Google Analytics or any comparable product on our pages.
No social media pixels, share widgets or fingerprinting scripts.
No cross-site profiling. We have no interest in following you around the internet, and nothing to sell you if we did.

Typefaces are self-hosted at build time, so loading a page does not contact any font provider.

Cookies inside game frames

Each game on our floor is a free demonstration build loaded in an embedded frame directly from its developer’s own service. That service may set its own cookies or storage inside the frame — typically to remember game settings, sound preferences or a demo session. Those cookies belong to the developer, are governed by the developer’s privacy and cookie terms, and are not readable by us. Game cover images are likewise served from the developer’s content delivery network.

If you would rather avoid third-party storage entirely, block third-party cookies in your browser. Games may then behave oddly or refuse to load, but the rest of socialspinsnetwork.com works normally.

Consent

Both items listed above are strictly necessary to provide functions you have actively requested — staying signed in, and confirming your age. Under the EU ePrivacy rules as applied in the Republic of Cyprus, storage of this kind does not require prior consent, which is why you are not greeted by a consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask you first and give you a real choice.

Managing what is stored

Sign out — clears the session cookie immediately.
Clear site data for socialspinsnetwork.com in your browser settings — removes the session cookie and the age-gate flag. The 18+ gate will greet you again on your next visit.
Private browsing — discards everything when you close the window.
Blocking all cookies — you can still browse and play as a guest, but signing in will not be possible, since the session cookie is what keeps you logged in.
